I've heard it is something that a lot of Boomers try.

ryanclifford88 Windows Phone 7 soon to release updates to OS. Codename: Mango. http://bit.ly/fcQVgd
ryanclifford88 I found a cool new game for setting fitness goals. It's called healthmonth.com. It's in beta, but I think it is a really cool and fun idea!
ryanclifford88 I feel like a sellout for saying this, but as far as making coffee at home goes, Starbucks is the best! I've bought coffee from all of the More... great coffeeshops in town and I always prefer Starbucks. Hide
I like Dazbog better than Starbucks, personally. :)

ryanclifford88 It's been a rough start so far, but the M's pulled out a great win last night! And they did it, despite a bad outing from King Felix... More... Inspiring! Hide

ryanclifford88 Don't hate me MS fans, but this is a very interesting article. "The problem with Microsoft..." http://bit.ly/f8AV8c
Most interesting point raised in the article for me was: "Still, Ballmer needs to do something to shake Microsoft from what, at best, seems to be a textbook case of corporate ennui."
CaptBellevue • 03-29-2011 23:10:27
Yeah, "ennui" is a good word! This article was interesting, because it didn't seem mean-spirited. Microsoft definitely has a huge business, but they appear to be falling behind in the public eye, for lack of consumer innovations.
ryanclifford88 • 03-29-2011 23:55:31
I also thought the author did a good job of making a case for the company focusing on the corporate side and leaving consumers markets to others. I don't think it will happen but it does seem some "think different" might be invaluable.

Unfortunately the place has become like the spider web phone poles in Saigon. I guess the game is fix it and innovate but don't disrupt the existing wires - http://meethappydoc.blogspot.com/2009/01/real-history-of-world-wide-web.html

ryanclifford88 I'm pretty sure that I'm late to the game on this, but Evernote (evernote.com) and Instapaper (instapaper.com)are awesome! No more keeping More... twenty browser tabs open for days on end... Hide
Look like two good tools. Probably could replace my use of Windows' Sticky Notes and save me desktop space at the same time..
CaptBellevue • 03-28-2011 17:40:57
nice, thanks!

ryanclifford88 An EXCELLENT story of seed round fundraising from Adam Neary, a co-founder of Profitably.com. http://bit.ly/f1Y8db
Great lessons learned! Good timing, for me, to read this.... Thanks.

ryanclifford88 Dear Entrepreneurs, try not to depend on patents if you can help it. They are becoming less-valuable and harder to defend everyday. More... http://bit.ly/fGGnV3 Hide
This could put thousands of lawyers out of a job!

ryanclifford88 I think these are cool, but they freak me out a little. Here's a look at Apple iGlasses: http://bit.ly/fuCaCW
Get ready. It is only a matter of time. Think--heads-up displays for fighter pilots. Freaky? You bet, but at least we'll be holding our heads up. However, our stares/glances will be a LOT more vacant.
CaptBellevue • 03-22-2011 17:04:34
Very good point! This way we wouldn't be walking around staring at our phones. However, the image of the person driving with google loaded up in the middle of the road seemed a bit much. Both good and bad. Very impressive technology though!
ryanclifford88 • 03-22-2011 18:57:49
The problem could be driving and using Google. However, driving and using Bing wouldn't present any difficulties.
CaptBellevue • 03-22-2011 21:20:53
I can't wait for the first time I see someone wearing goofy glasses waving their arms around and touching invisible icons. Must look really odd to onlookers.

ryanclifford88 The feeling of knocking out a pile of expense reports is like taking off ski boots at the end of a long day on the mountain... So Nice!
That's funny but very true!

ryanclifford88 30 Up-and-Coming Blogs Every Entrepreneur Should Know... http://under30ceo.com/30-up-and-coming-blogs-every-entrepreneur-should-know/
Boy, the support and expertise available for any start-up/entrepreneur is just amazing and this list is a good example. No reason, today, to fail.

thanks for this

very interesting read.
Emilex • 03-14-2011 21:42:06
There's also another list, linked into the first paragraph, that has 20 good blogs to checkout. This list is a bit more established, where the list of 30 is more about blogs that are trending up.

ryanclifford88 It's good to be around people who are unbelievably productive (You know the type. You may BE the type)... Reminds me what I'm capable of!
That's very true although it took sometime to find them.

ryanclifford88 I'm approaching two months of P90X now and am feeling great! Haven't been perfect, but in the best shape I've been in years. I'll probably More... make it more like P105X to make up for some missed days here and there. Hide
What is P90X or P105X?
steve • 03-11-2011 11:50:02
The program is actually called P90X. Its a 90-day workout program and nutrition plan. Its been good and really comprehensive. I was only kidding about P105X, because I'm planning to go an extra two weeks when I'm done.
ryanclifford88 • 03-11-2011 12:52:23
How much does it cost? I am thinking to build up my muscle too but working out from home is not very motivating and slow result.
steve • 03-11-2011 15:36:24
Well, I'm not sure how much it costs, because it was a Christmas gift. And it is all home-based, so it may not be what you're looking for, but I've been in sports and fitness my whole life and its tough! With good results!

ryanclifford88 Going to the Denver New Tech Meetup next week, if anyone's interested. http://meetu.ps/F20k
Would you let me know if you come across anything in the product, programs or services area specifically targeted to older adults?
CaptBellevue • 03-10-2011 18:35:46
Of course!

ryanclifford88 Tried a new coffee place on the west end of Pearl, http://ozocoffee.com/ I really like it! Nice coffee, cool and active atmosphere.
They were both very good games and I am happy for the Blazers with the changes. You are absolutely correct that we need LA as the main guy. Roy can be Mr. 4th quarter and plays supporting role which he doesn't mind at all if we win.
